About Salon B
Barbara has been a licensed cosmetologist for the past 16 years. As she gained experience and a loyal clientele, she branched out and started her own business nine years ago, titled Salon B. Barbara was born in Albuquerque and grew up in the Sawmill Area, next to generations of her family. As she became a businesswoman, she continued to operate her shop out of the Old Town District. She is extremely proud of her roots and as she embarked on opening her dream shop, she selected a dwelling that not only has character but rich history as well. So together with her husband and family she set her sights on a 150 year old - 450 square foot quaint home on the west border of Old Town, along the historic Rio Grande Boulevard. This exceptional salon maintains its traditional adobe walls, original hardwood floors and charming kiva fireplace. Clients can relax and enjoy the ambiance as well as experience the pleasure of being pampered in the intimate one on one setting of the salon.
Barbara recognizes each clients unique needs and customizes their services - always with a smile. Old friends and new are invited to take a journey in the historic Salon B Old Town to experience the warmth, charm and expertise of Barbara's talent.
